Personal History.
Lee was born January 13, 1952 in Decorah, Iowa to Orvin and Setma Ramlo. They settled in Tustin, California in 1955 when his father, who was in the Marine Corps, was stationed there. Lee has three older brothers and a younger sister. He attended local schools and graduated from Foothill High in 1970. Lee also completed three years at Cal. State Fullerton where he majored in Accounting.
Mary Beth was born in Muskegon, Michigan in 1953. Her family of nine moved a lot but eventually settled in Tustin where she met Lee in high school. They started dating while attending Saddleback College and were married in 1974.
God has blessed them with two fine boys. William is married to Camelia. And Kevin is married to Emma.
They have two beautiful granddaughters!
Lee runs his own construction business.
Christian Testimony
Lee was raised in the Lutheran church. He completed confirmation and was very active in the youth group. Mary Beth was raised in the Methodist church but joined the Lutheran church when she met Lee.
We began our lives and ministry together leading the youth group, going on short term mission trips and leading in music and worship.
As a young couple, we were able to attend a Marriage Encounter weekend. There we learned that only Jesus could keep us together and that He must be the Lord of our lives and the center of our relationship.
Life has brought us many trials but the Lord has continued to bless us even in the darkest times. We trust Him at all times in all situations.
We have attended an Evangelical Free church in Orange for 30 years. Our passions include music, children and missions. We lead the AWANA clubs at our church, serve on the mission board, and sing in the choir.
Mission Experience
It has been a great joy to serve alongside other believers as we go out on mission trips. We first met Pablo and Martha Garcia when they were on staff at Rancho Agua Viva in Ensenada, Mexico. Their help was essential in communicating with the locals. We were able to share the love of Christ with children and also do needed construction projects.
We are excited to serve on the board of Link, Intl. Ministries.
God has also sent us to Romania, China, and India. Last year in Siliguri, India we had the awesome privilege of sharing the Gospel with over 400 people. Four house churches were established and we hope to visit them again next year.
Our local church strives to support and encourage our missionaries and we want to visit all of them in the field.
